2022 SASRF Sundowner
Volunteers, supporters, sponsors, donors, Board members, Committee members and staff enjoyed the annual SASRF Sundowner held in beautiful setting of the University Club of Western Australia on the 1st December.
This event is the Fund’s opportunity to thank all those whose support throughout the year has meant that the Fund is able to holistically support our beneficiaries. Your support has meant that we have been able to not only provide our beneficiary children with education and associated costs, but we’ve been able to provide personalised support to many other families and individuals who've experienced financial hardship.
In his speech SASRF Chairman Dr Grant (Wally) Walsh highlighted that the support for the Fund comes in a variety of ways such as:
Donations – be that of money, holiday homes to be used by current SAS Regiments members for respite, or in-kind items such as wine for functions
Time – volunteers at events, legal advice, accounting services, Committee and Board members
Financial – purchasing tickets to events and other initiatives such as community fundraising events and donating a percentage of sales from a product
Whatever your contribution to the Fund in 2022, please know it was received gratefully and we look forward to seeing you in 2023.
